Fishing at Ocean Lakes

You can fish right from the beach at Ocean Lakes, or head to the on-site lake for freshwater fishing. The lake is stocked and calm, a good option for kids learning to cast or anyone who wants a slower morning than the surf allows.

For serious anglers, Pier 14 at Myrtle Beach is about a mile up the road — one of the longest fishing piers on the East Coast. A South Carolina fishing license is required for guests 16 and older; day licenses are available online before you arrive.
