Carolina Country Music Fest
Carolina Country Music Fest is one of the biggest outdoor music festivals in the Southeast, held each June on the Myrtle Beach oceanfront. Four days of country music, cold drinks, and sand — it draws some of the biggest names in country music every year.
The Festival
CCMF runs Thursday through Sunday in mid-June on the beach near the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Multiple stages run throughout each day, with the main headliners closing out each night. Past headliners have included Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, and Florida Georgia Line.
Staying at Ocean Lakes
Ocean Lakes is about 10 minutes from the festival grounds, which makes it a great base. You get the campground's amenities and beach access during the day, then head up to the festival for the evening shows. Rideshare is the easiest way to get there and back — parking near the venue is limited during the festival.
Tickets
Four-day passes and single-day tickets are available. Four-day passes sell out well in advance, especially after the lineup is announced. Check the Carolina Country Music Fest website for tickets and the current year's lineup.
Tips
- Book your Ocean Lakes rental as soon as CCMF dates are announced — June is peak season and the festival brings extra demand
- Wear sunscreen — the afternoon shows are on an open beach with no shade
- Bring earplugs if you're sensitive to loud music — the main stage is very loud
- Rideshare surge pricing kicks in after the headliner ends — leave a few minutes early or wait it out
