Jeep Jam Myrtle Beach
Jeep Jam is one of the Grand Strand's most popular annual events, drawing thousands of Jeep owners and off-road enthusiasts to Myrtle Beach each year. The event fills the area with lifted rigs, custom builds, and a whole lot of mud — and Ocean Lakes is one of the best places to stay for it, with easy access to the main venues and plenty of room to park your rig.
What to Expect
The event runs over several days and includes a main show field with vendor exhibits, a swap meet, off-road obstacle courses, and organized trail rides. Evenings bring live music, food trucks, and a cruise-in along the strip where you can walk the rows and check out builds from across the country.
Jeep Parade
One of the highlights is the Jeep parade down Ocean Boulevard — hundreds of rigs rolling through with flags flying and horns honking. Grab a spot on the sidewalk early if you want a good view.
Getting There from Ocean Lakes
The main event grounds are about 15 minutes north on US-17. Parking fills up fast, so go early or caravan with your group. Many attendees drive their Jeeps right to the show — which is half the fun.
Tips for Attending
Book your stay early — Jeep Jam weekend fills up fast across the Grand Strand. Ocean Lakes is a great base: you're close to the action but can come back to the beach when you need a break. Bring cash for the swap meet and wear comfortable shoes — the show field is large and you'll cover a lot of ground.
