The Beach at Ocean Lakes

Ocean Lakes sits right on the Atlantic, and the beach here is one of the best stretches on the Grand Strand. It's wide, clean, and far enough from the main Myrtle Beach strip that it stays relatively uncrowded even in peak summer.

Getting There

From most homes inside the campground, the beach is a short golf cart ride or a five to ten minute walk. There are multiple beach access points throughout the property, so you're never far from the water.

What to Expect

The beach is open to campground guests only, which keeps it quieter than the public beaches nearby. You'll find lifeguards on duty during peak season, outdoor showers, and restroom facilities near the main access points.

What to Bring

Most of our rentals come stocked with beach chairs and an umbrella. Check your listing for what's included. The camp store inside Ocean Lakes carries sunscreen, snacks, and anything you forgot to pack.
