Sandy Harbor Water Park

Sandy Harbor is the water park inside Ocean Lakes Family Campground, and it's one of the main reasons families book here year after year. It's included with your campground access fee, so there's no extra ticket to buy.

What's Open Now

The park has multiple water slides, a lazy river, a large pool, and a dedicated splash area for younger kids. There's a snack bar on-site so you can stay all day without heading back to the house.

What's Changing in 2027

Ocean Lakes is in the middle of a major expansion. A new indoor aquatic center is coming in 2027, adding an indoor pool, kid splash pools, and body slides. The mini golf course at Sandy Harbor closed permanently in September 2026 to make room for the new facility. No reopening date for mini golf has been announced. If mini golf is on your list, plan to visit one of the off-site courses nearby, like Captain Hook's Adventure Golf or Mt. Atlanticus.

Hours & Season

Sandy Harbor is open during the summer season, typically Memorial Day through Labor Day. Hours can vary, so check with the campground office when you arrive for the current schedule.

Tips

It gets busy on hot afternoons. Go in the morning or later in the day if you want shorter lines. Bring water shoes — the pavement gets hot. Towels and sunscreen are a must.
